Introductions and the quiet work of becoming

Welcome – thank you for being here.

This blog began with a quiet itch: to carve out a space for academic reflection and growth where I could speak and write in my own voice. Where I can journal on the process of becoming and growing as an educator, scholar, anatomist, human.

I am a veterinarian and scientist by training, now working as a lecturer (assistant professor) in veterinary anatomy. My professional world revolves around students, structures and systems. But this space is not just for veterinarians, anatomists or academics…

I would like this to become a digital nook for those who are interested in how people learn, grow, and make meaning – whether through formal education or through the lifelong work of self-development.

A museum where we curate the quiet work of becoming.

If you have ever felt like you’re figuring it out as you go, or that your best ideas come in the margins of the official work- stick around.

You’re in good company.
